Squatchy Happenings

One of my main research areas has had some recent happenings this week.
As I was catching up upon my nightly readings I stumbled across a similarity in another persons finding. I have seen on a number of occasions, Sticks protruding from the ground about 1 foot long and 2.5-3 inches deep in what looked to be nutrient rich soil ( bugs crawling, plants etc.). I have only seen and read about this in Ohio so far.If you know of this in other states please let me know. This week I seen it again in my area. I am not really sure why or how this happens. Could be nothing at all, or it could be an important piece to the puzzle.

Here are a few pictures I took.

Went into the woods to be awesome and Squatch my heart out when I started feeling little spiky things hit me in the head. This happened while I was looking up at the trees taking photos.(which I often do)
It seemed like whatever was throwing these spiky fruits wanted to hit me! And they were coming from a few different trees from different directions. Still continued to take pictures while I was getting pelted (very difficult!))and then suddenly my camera battery died. I had just replaced these batteries a few days prior.Totally intrigued and confused at this moment.

Since I couldn't physically see the creature that was attacking me, or take any more pictures, (and quite frankly was tired of getting smacked in the face and head)  I moved on down the trail. This all occurred around 430 pm. And the fruits stopped flying when I made a right onto the path.

As you venture down this trail there are a few dried up ponds and stagnant water holes to the left hand side (and mosquitoes of plenty)  Thought I had heard someone/something whistle at me across the dried pond with logs surrounding it. Along with some branches breaking in the same area. So Obviously  I whistled back, I did this twice. About 7-8 seconds later got an awesome response! Two whistles back! An exhilarating feeling, to say the least. Was totally not expecting that at all, but like my mom always says "when you least expect it, expect it!"  Peacefully I kept trying to get more responses back with some more whistles and singing the Jeff Buckley song " Hallelujah,."  I sat there on a log for awhile and waited but I heard nothing else. I always make sure no one is at this research site before hand.
This day I was alone, or was I?

I go Bigfooting in some of the most unexpected places here in Ohio. People are living there lives oblivious to the fact that Bigfoots could be a hop, skip and a jump away. I do this not only because its my passion, but because there is always a chance, and endless possibilities when it comes to Sasquatch.

I like to leave the questions open ended on this blog because I want you to think about them, and want you to learn from my mistakes, and findings. I would never want to compete with any other Bigfooters or anyone for that matter. We should always be on the same team for the sake of the Squatch.
Together if we collect as many little clues as possible, one day they could lead to something much Greater. That is my hope anyway.
