Sasquatch, Bohpoli, and Herbs

I have an undying love and respect for Native Americans and my Native American Choctaw ancestors.

Native American Choctaw tribes have lived in Mississippi for around 4000-8000 years. They talked about the "little people" which they called "Bohpoli"  translated as "thrower." It Also can be said that Choctaw people used another name for them "Kowi anuskashawhich means "forest dweller." (for this post we'll call them  Bohpoli.)
Said to only be seen by doctors and Chiefs, not by  your average Choctaw tribesman.
Some insentience's in history have said that the Bohpoli kidnapped young children,  took them into the woods and taught them how to use herbs as medicine. The children were always returned and grew up to become doctors of the tribe. These creatures were very mischievous, but not harmful.

Makes me wonder if the Bohpoli could possibly be related to Sasquatch or some closely related species. Surly this is an inference that many before me have made.
Juvenile Sasquatches are known for Stealing things from campsites and messing with campers, being little tricksters is their specialty.

If Monkeys know what kind of herbs they need to keep the bugs at bay (Jackass bitters); Then why Couldn't Sasquatches know the same or more about these herbs?  Could they have taught the Native Americans these skills?

Oh the Possibilities...

Summer Fried Chicken

Our DNA makeup, environment and lifestyle choices make up the people that we our today. Growing up with no money in a poor suburb of Columbus, we always made do with what we had.Which therefor has made me a very frugal person. Looking back at my childhood now, I would not change a thing. Life has taught me a very valuable lesson, a lesson you cannot learn from any book. Being underprivileged has made me a more empathetic person in the long run. I would rather be rich in my heart then rich in my pockets any day.

Went kinda deep there I know... but now I'm going deep fried! Even though I don't eat fried food everyday, you shouldn't deprive yourself all the time :) So this is my personal recipe for Fried chicken! I'm letting it out of my secret vault for you Bigfooters and readers to enjoy!

This will make enough for about 4-5 people depending on appetites

Little Chicken Bittys

Ingredients:

3lbs of Boneless Chicken cut into quarter size pieces

2 cups of all purpose flour or (for Gluten free use rice flour)

1/4 cup Cornstarch

1/2 cup of Corn meal

2 tbs Smoked Paprika

3 tbs  Garlic Powder

5 tbs  Salt

5 tbs  Black Pepper

2 tbs Onion powder

2 tbs Chili powder

Optional: Ground red pepper for heat 3 tbs

Wet:
3 cups of vitamin D milk
Optional : Franks red hot sauce

Don't forget to add some love!

Turn on frying receptacle  to 350 degrees, or heat oil in a large pan on medium high heat.
After cutting up the chicken, let it soak in the milk for about 15 minutes or longer. (the longer the better!)
I like to add  hot sauce to the milk. but that is Optional.
In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients with a whisk until its all incorporated.
Then take about a handful of the chicken pieces after they are done soaking, drop them into the dry mixture and toss them around, until they are completely covered. Drop into hot oil and wait for them to rise to the top. They will be done around 6-8 minutes. ( if you get low on the dry mixture add more flour as needed)

This is literally the cheapest fried chicken recipe I could come up with without sacrificing any quality.
Enjoy this, and share with friends!

Rose lake screamer

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

My theory on the Rose Lake screamer:

My next venture into the dark woods will take me to find the Rose Lake Screamer. The rose lake screamer is thought to be a ghostly entity that haunts people camping around rose lake, otherwise known as Hocking Hills Reservoir. This needs to be checked into, rumor has it that Rose Lake might just be inhabited by the elusive Bigfoot.Which leads me to believe that the "screamer" may actually be a Bigfoot. Obviously further analysis needs to take place to determine this.  It has been something that has been stirring in my brain for a while. There are old abandoned mines down there as well, and some local unreported sightings in this general area.

With this being said I must do some camping here in the next week or two, to find out what is making these screaming sounds. Wish me luck on this investigation, I'm going to need it. (this girl needs new glasses!) Now I just need to find a camping partner, a coffee pot and I'm all set for adventure in the spooky hills of hocking.

Squatchyville Tennessee

Ah Tennessee,  always  leave feeling rejuvenated,  it seems as if  time stands still in the Great Smoky Mountains. I didn't have to look too hard in this region to have a Bigfoot experience this place is  Squatch central! We ended up Staying in a privately owned cabin that was high up in the mountains.

First night  at the cabin, my brother Kyle and I seen some possible
"Sas-shine." (Sasquatch eye shine) As we were grabbing some stuff from the car, seen a pair of  big green glowing eyes. This happened next to the cabin entry way, behind 2 large very bushy  like trees. I had to sit back and process what I had just seen.  It is highly probable that this could have been a Sasquatch.

On Tuesday, we made the drive up to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It feels like you stepped into a painting as you  walk through this giant clearing in the mountains. This is one of the most peaceful places for me, it heals my soul. If you haven't been I highly suggest it.

While sitting on the front porch in the night we heard some tree branch breaks, and movement through the brush..This happened 3 out of the 4 nights that we stayed in the cabin. All of these instances happened after midnight.

The last night while sitting around my brother and I experimented  with the guitar as we were singing. As we were carrying on having a good time, we heard some stomping type footsteps. Down over near the north side of the cabin behind the hot tub. I'd say Comparable to the sound of an elephant stomping. Along with some tree rustling and branches crackling, then it just suddenly stopped. That "somethings watching you feeling" came over me and could  feel eyes burning on my shoulder.  Just a  few minutes later,  "Someone" (not saying who, but it wasn't me!) got sick over the side of the deck, which probably scared off  whatever was down there....

 Delicious!

Yes, we were in Tennessee so, naturally we wanted to enjoy a little "culture" while we were there.  This place was awesome! Ole Smoky Moonshine gives you (or at least us because we're awesome) free tastings of 12 different varieties of moonshine. (legal Moonshine) Yee-Haw!!!!
Let me just tell you about these cherries if you haven't had one yet, shame on you! They are soaked in 100 proof  Moonshine!

Free Moonshine Tasting

All and all this was a very successful relaxing trip, we had an awesomely squatchy time!
I will always come back to these mountains, Both for the Bigfoots and the Beauty of it all. If you can't find me in Ohio, this is where I just might be!

Far East Side

Pickerington ponds is where the randomness lead me yesterday. Its actually in Canal Winchester, on the far east side of Columbus. This place is drenched in history, totally quaint and charming; I always enjoy visiting Canal.
Really needed to "recharge the batteries" yesterday and get some meditation in. This happened to be an awesome day for just that, and surprisingly cool for June here in cow town.

The ponds have just a little over 400 acres, plenty of room to play and do some research. First little experiment I did was the rock tapping song, basically just tapped some rocks together near the creek, and made a song out of it with singing and the whole bit.  I know that sounds weird to some people, but its completely normal to me. I love trying new ways and methods, and am always down for a Squatchy time.
Nothing out of the ordinary really happened after the experiment took place.  Although I did get surrounded by  dozens of birds! which I always love. Unfortunately  I did not cover all the ground I would have liked , so will have to go back here a few more days and do some looking.
Here is a collection of photos from the day.

This bridge was assembled in 1897 in Canal Winchester, and moved here in the 1930's

My letter to Bigfoot

Dear Bigfoot,

I will continue to peacefully and respectfully  look for answers, and learn about your existence. No matter how many people laugh at me for it. I have your back, man., always. I know your going to always be wild and free. That's why I love you. Hopefully one day I will catch a glimpse or we can finally meet. Your mysteries may elude us for decades to come, but I will still be out there
in the woods learning and waiting.

Love always,
Summer

BIGFOOT BUCKET LIST

Dreaming of Beautifully Squatchy places day and night! I cannot turn it off, nor would I ever want to.  Just Recently came up with a list of these places to go before I  "kick the bucket ."
I'm only 28 so hopefully I will not for a while. Here are just a few of them for your enjoyment!

BIGFOOT BUCKET LIST:

1. Sunshine Coast B.C.

With one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world, and some of the best hiking trails and bike trails, It is no wonder Bigfoots call this place home, this place is amazing, can't wait to go someday!

2. Denali National Park, Alaska

Rugged and wild, Denali has some of the most remote forests with six million acres of land. This would take me quite sometime to go through, but I wouldn't mind it at all!

3.  The Olympic Peninsula, Washington

From Mountains to beaches to the rain forest  this place has everything a Bigfooter could ever want.  This is a kind of place where you could never get tired or bored of. Discovery awaits here!

4. The Upper Peninsula , Michigan

Please don't tell my Ohio friends, but...  I have always wanted to go here. Their are some squatchy rumors swirling around about this place, that means I need to go!

5. Sierra Nevada Mountains

This place is the epicenter for Bigfoot Researchers and Bigfoot Fanatics alike. Would love to go back sometime, and get my hands in the dirt.
