Squatchy Happenings

One of my main research areas has had some recent happenings this week.
As I was catching up upon my nightly readings I stumbled across a similarity in another persons finding. I have seen on a number of occasions, Sticks protruding from the ground about 1 foot long and 2.5-3 inches deep in what looked to be nutrient rich soil ( bugs crawling, plants etc.). I have only seen and read about this in Ohio so far.If you know of this in other states please let me know. This week I seen it again in my area. I am not really sure why or how this happens. Could be nothing at all, or it could be an important piece to the puzzle.

Here are a few pictures I took.

Went into the woods to be awesome and Squatch my heart out when I started feeling little spiky things hit me in the head. This happened while I was looking up at the trees taking photos.(which I often do)
It seemed like whatever was throwing these spiky fruits wanted to hit me! And they were coming from a few different trees from different directions. Still continued to take pictures while I was getting pelted (very difficult!))and then suddenly my camera battery died. I had just replaced these batteries a few days prior.Totally intrigued and confused at this moment.

Since I couldn't physically see the creature that was attacking me, or take any more pictures, (and quite frankly was tired of getting smacked in the face and head)  I moved on down the trail. This all occurred around 430 pm. And the fruits stopped flying when I made a right onto the path.

As you venture down this trail there are a few dried up ponds and stagnant water holes to the left hand side (and mosquitoes of plenty)  Thought I had heard someone/something whistle at me across the dried pond with logs surrounding it. Along with some branches breaking in the same area. So Obviously  I whistled back, I did this twice. About 7-8 seconds later got an awesome response! Two whistles back! An exhilarating feeling, to say the least. Was totally not expecting that at all, but like my mom always says "when you least expect it, expect it!"  Peacefully I kept trying to get more responses back with some more whistles and singing the Jeff Buckley song " Hallelujah,."  I sat there on a log for awhile and waited but I heard nothing else. I always make sure no one is at this research site before hand.
This day I was alone, or was I?

I go Bigfooting in some of the most unexpected places here in Ohio. People are living there lives oblivious to the fact that Bigfoots could be a hop, skip and a jump away. I do this not only because its my passion, but because there is always a chance, and endless possibilities when it comes to Sasquatch.

I like to leave the questions open ended on this blog because I want you to think about them, and want you to learn from my mistakes, and findings. I would never want to compete with any other Bigfooters or anyone for that matter. We should always be on the same team for the sake of the Squatch.
Together if we collect as many little clues as possible, one day they could lead to something much Greater. That is my hope anyway.

Peace Squatchin'

Summer Bigfooting season is in full swing here in Ohio.  Haven't had this much fun by myself since I was a little kid. Its time to just roam around in nature and have a great time! Stuff your back pack full of goodies and go! The smell of fresh cut grass, the wildflowers, (even the crazy looks I get while out in the field) Its just pure bliss to me!

I run into so many people who are scared of Bigfoot on a daily basis. Some people are so frightened they won't even talk about them. I believe if you keep your soul and heart peaceful, and just be peaceful overall you will be just fine.(this pertains to both life and Bigfooting)

Yes there are many legends and reports of them "attacking" people but I believe if you respect them, they will respect you. I try to always wear my peace sign medallion around my neck. Not only as a reminder to others that "I Come In Peace" but to remind myself, in times of worry or anxiousness, that peace is upon me.

I strive to learn more about Bigfoot each day, my mind craves it, and my soul is hungry for it.
As we embark on these beautiful journeys into the wilderness it should remind us all that this world is more vast and beautiful than we could ever imagine.

Just remember the wilderness is "wild" and you must be careful always.Keep your mind clear know your surroundings, too many people get lost(me occasionally) Every tree looks the same as you go around in circles to find your way home. Just be prepared and keep your smarts about you.Use your better judgement while you're out in the woods.

It is essential to take a trash bag with me when I do my research. This is not only for my own use, but if I happen to find any other garbage left by others.(which sadly I find all too often )
Be responsible for your mess, Please clean it up! Keep this world beautiful.
Maybe if we all do our part the forests of North America will be around for our children, and Bigfoot's  furry children for many years to come.

Have a beautiful time! Reflect and Collect!

The Eternal Optimist

Be brave, and be true to yourself always. Don't waste one more moment on this earth, just go for it, scoop your dreams up and make them yours.  Keep a positive attitude and disposition, and you will be happy with just " being." These are just a few things I try and instill in myself to stay at peace.

No matter how many bad things happen to me, I still walk around with a smile on my face and a song inside my heart. I will not let anyone or anything take that from me.
In this world their are people who are very angry and want to bring you down, they want to push you into being angry with them, so they will have some company in "negative land." Don't go there, it is a sad place, I have been there many times, it's no longer on my itinerary.
