Sasquatch, Bohpoli, and Herbs

I have an undying love and respect for Native Americans and my Native American Choctaw ancestors.

Native American Choctaw tribes have lived in Mississippi for around 4000-8000 years. They talked about the "little people" which they called "Bohpoli"  translated as "thrower." It Also can be said that Choctaw people used another name for them "Kowi anuskashawhich means "forest dweller." (for this post we'll call them  Bohpoli.)
Said to only be seen by doctors and Chiefs, not by  your average Choctaw tribesman.
Some insentience's in history have said that the Bohpoli kidnapped young children,  took them into the woods and taught them how to use herbs as medicine. The children were always returned and grew up to become doctors of the tribe. These creatures were very mischievous, but not harmful.

Makes me wonder if the Bohpoli could possibly be related to Sasquatch or some closely related species. Surly this is an inference that many before me have made.
Juvenile Sasquatches are known for Stealing things from campsites and messing with campers, being little tricksters is their specialty.

If Monkeys know what kind of herbs they need to keep the bugs at bay (Jackass bitters); Then why Couldn't Sasquatches know the same or more about these herbs?  Could they have taught the Native Americans these skills?

Oh the Possibilities...

~Peace, Love, and Squatches~
